Cindy is soooooo happy. The nasal gastric tube that was feeding her was removed yesterday. She was able to walk to the bathroom today, give herself a sponge batch, and get dressed. She was also able to eat a full meal for lunch (hamburger with ketchup, club soda and vanilla cookies).
The Physical and Occupational Therapists kept Cindy busy all morning and part of the afternoon getting her to stand up, sit down, move here and move there. Cindy kept the nurses busy running in and out of her room by asking for ice, water, and a bunch of other requests. It was a very mutual give and take.
